Autumn's Number One Home Intruder in Puget Sound

BRB. Grabbing supplies to burn down my apartment just in case I see one of these bad boys in my apartment. 

Wolf spiders are the number one intruder for your home this fall in Puget Sound. 

According to this Seattle Times article, "wolf spiders are accidental intruders in homes. As summer transitions to autumn, cooling temperatures prompt them to seek cover and find mates, which ultimately leads them to discover cracks and holes in homes."

While wolf spiders are harmless, they are the only spider to cart their babies along with them, so if startled all the baby spiders will scatter from the mother's abs. BLEH.
