The Sundance film festival has announced part of its 2020 lineup, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sundance is pleased to be getting closer to its goal of gender parity. Of the 65 directors competing in 2020, 46 percent are women, 38 percent are people of color and 12 percent are LGBTQ+.
Taylor Swift's documentary Miss Americana will also play, and Variety reports that Swift's older music has been cleared for inclusion in the film, something that had been unresolved.
The documentary is meant to be a look at the star as she evolved and embraced becoming "a woman harnessing the full power of her voice," according to a press release. Sundance 2020 will happen in Park City, Nevada, from January 23 to February 2.
