Ashton Kutcher, former host of "Punk'd" , announced on Twitter that he is not involved in the reboot.
MTV has been teasing the fact that they would bring the show back on a streaming platform. Kutcher announced to his 18 million Twitter followers'I have nothing to do with the new punk’d situation. Hope they get it right.'
"Punk'd" was a hidden-camera practical joke show that pranked celebrities. Kutcher co-created and produced the shows original run.
The actor hosted the original version of "Punk'd" on MTV from 2003-2007, that involved him serving as the mastermind behind the pranks.
