I consider myself and bit of a "sneakerhead", but even I think this is ridiculous!
Last weekend at the Sothby Auction House, someone bought a pair of shoes for more than half a million dollars!
Well, these were no regular sneakers! They were a pair of game-worn, autographed Michael Jordan rookie season shoes. He wore the Air Jordan's during the 1984-1985 season (his first year in the league).
They are Chicago Bulls red and are slightly worn out and went fro a record $560,000! Check out the sneakers in the video below, think they're really worth a half a million bucks??
