The Eiffel Tower in Paris just celebrated it's 130th anniversary last week and apparently, one man was so excited about it he decided it would be a good idea to climb on it. Spoiler Alert: IT WASN'T! According to THE LOCAL, the man was calmly clinging on to the steel beams under the tower's top observation deck with no safety devises. Firefighters had to repel from above, talked to the man, and he was taken into custody without incident (or I should say further incident, as he dude was clinging to the top of freakin' Eiffel Tower. The entire tower was forced to close during the event.
