Will doing a background check on your match be the new normal for dating apps? Sisanie shared on-air the online dating game is about to change.
Tinder and other Match group-owned dating platforms will soon allow users to conduct background checks on their matches. The technology will vet people based on basic info such as their first name and phone number. Using these details, Tinder users will apparently be able to tell if someone has a criminal record or things like a restraining order.
All the details are still TBD, including the price, but a trial run will happen on Tinder first.
