Two charges of murder in the first degree have been filed against Kirkland Warren.
He's the man Vancouver Police have considered a person of interest in the killings of Meshay Melendez and her seven-year-old daughter Layla Stewart.
The Clark County Medical Examiner ruled both of their deaths homicides. They were shot in the head.
Warren was already in custody for other charges related to Melendez and Stewart. He's being held without bond.
