Fred Meyer, a division of The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), is amplifying its hiring efforts by adding 2,000 new associates across the northwest over the next several months. Additionally, the company will host a significant hiring event this Saturday at its Clackamas distribution center.
Propelled by steady growth, Fred Meyer is committed to bringing new associates on board to meet staffing needs throughout the northwest. Full-time and part-time positions are now available in the company’s retail stores and manufacturing facilities and distribution centers.
Fred Meyer is looking for individuals to drive trucks, select orders, staff fresh departments and center store aisles, cashiers and courtesy clerks, online order fulfillment for through their Pickup service, and pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The Saturday hiring event for the distribution center and drivers will be from 9am-2pm at:

Starting wages for the distribution center are $22.40 per hour, and higher for drivers. There can be a $1,500 to $5,000 signing bonus depending on the position type.
