Governor Kate Brown today visited the All4Oregon mass vaccination site, which is jointly operated by Kaiser Permanente, Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Providence Health, and Legacy Health, at the Oregon Convention Center. The Governor participated in an "all hands" staff gathering where she thanked staff and volunteers, including representatives from the Oregon National Guard and the Coast Guard, for their incredible work in reaching 500,000 vaccines administered. She also toured the vaccination site and talked with dozens of site workers, volunteers, and health system representatives.

“The best thing we can all do to get back to a sense of normalcy is to get vaccinated, and Oregon has done an extraordinary job, thanks in part to vaccination sites like All4Oregon at the Convention Center," said Governor Brown. "This collaboration truly represents the Oregon way – coming together in the best interests of Oregonians. I’m so thankful to Kaiser Permanente, OHSU, Legacy Health, and Providence Health for working together to make this happen, and to Metro for allowing the use of the space. Today we are celebrating this impressive collective effort, which has resulted in over 500,000 vaccines administered. I want to thank all of the staff and volunteers who have been working tirelessly to make this possible."

Joining Governor Brown at the vaccine clinic were Kaiser Permanente Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mary Giswold, Kaiser Permanente Chief Operating Officer Wendy Watson, OHSU Chief Medical Officer Dr. Renee Edwards, OHSU Chief Operating Officer Joe Ness, and Providence Health & Services COO William Olson.
