Hillsboro Police have arrested 61-year-old idencia Diaz-Eguiza in connection with a shooting Sunday in Hillsboro.
Police responded to a house in the 2700 block of Southeast Tumblestone Drive on a report of a shooting.
They wound a woman with serious injuries. She's hospitalized and expected to survive.
Police initially called Diaz-Equiza a person of interest, but arrested him Sunday night.
He's charged with Attempted Murder, Assault in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon.
Police have not said what lead to the shooting.
