A YouTuber pilot is facing up to 20 years in jail for staging a plane crash to boost his viewership. In November 2021, Trevor Jacobs posted the video 'I crashed my airplane', in which he ejects from his single-engine plane and parachutes into Los Padres National Forest in southern California. The video has been viewed more than 3 million times. But now, Jacobs admits he set the whole thing up - and later removed and disposed of the wreckage, despite the FAA telling him to preserve it for their investigation. Jacobs is expected to plead guilty to obstructing a federal investigation - which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years. What kind of sentence does Jacobs deserve for this stunt?
