Lionsgate is developing a TV series adaptation of "Twilight". The series was previously turned into a movie franchise starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. There is no writer or network attached to the project yet, but saga creator Stephanie Meyers is expected to be involved. No movie actors are reported to return to their iconic roles for the tv series.
The franchise consists of Meyers' four books, turned into five movies (the last book was split into two movies). The movie franchise grossed over $3 billion globally. "Twilight" news comes shortly after "Harry Potter" was also announced to be turned into a TV series
