Lady Gaga Expands Her Teen Mental Health Program

Lady Gaga has announced that her Born This Way Foundation and The National Council for Behavioral Health will expand Gaga's teen Mental Health First Aid program to 20 more high schools. She made the announcement during one of her Las Vegas residency shows accompanied by 16 students who had just completed the program.

"With teen Mental Health First Aid, we like to say, it's okay to not be okay," Gaga said to the crowd. "I know for certain I'm not stopping here. I want the teen Mental Health First Aid program in every school in this country." The program, which started in 2011, helps teens in grades 10 through 12 deal with mental health issues and also teaches them to identify issues among their friends.

Do you wish that mental health opportunities like this were available when you were in school? Do you like that schools are starting programs like this to deal with mental health in kids?

IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE THAT COULD HELP, PLEASE GET MORE INFO FROM OUR FRIENDS AT Providence Health and Well Being Trust!
