The Best Halloween Treats in Disneyland TESTED

I recently came home from a vacation to Disneyland, and they are right in the middle of their Halloween celebrations!

Disneyland has some of the best food around. If you haven't had the bacon mac and cheese bread cone in Disneyland California Adventure, you haven't LIVED. The next time you find yourself in DCA, head over to Cars Land and make your way over to Cozy Cone Motel. Usually Lightening McQueen or Tow Mater are outside for pictures, so if you see a long line, don't fear. The cone is about $8 and more than enough food for a full meal.

If mac and cheese isn't your thing, they have chili in a bread cone as well. But who isn't in love with mac and cheese???  While in DCA, if you are over 21, you are also to walk around with alcohol in the park. You cannot bring in your own, but beer, wine, and margaritas are available at almost any restaurant. Until we get The Cantina in Star Wars Land, no alcohol is available, or allowed into Disneyland.

Alcoholic root beer floats are available at Clarabelle's on Buena Vista St. next to the Starbucks. It's a LOT so I shared with my Mom.

One of my FAVORITE dining spots in DCA was Cove Bar, they have since closed down that restaurant and reopened it as Lamplight Lounge. The lobster nachos are still very much on the menu, and the "not so secret" menu items are still available to be made. Every bartender I have come across inside Lamplight knows the secret menu items by heart. Just asking for them and they will know how to make the drink. My personal favorite is "The Fun Wheel." The drink is layered with pineapple juice, then X-Rated Passion Fruit Vodka, and blue curaçao together with the Long Island ingredients.

The secret menu items are by far some of the most expensive drink items in DCA. Fun wheel and Neverland (a long island where the sweet & sour is replaced with peach schnapps, pineapple juice and Sprite, while midori lends it that Peter Pan green) cost me over $30.

But enough with the basics, let us move onto HALLOWEEN! Disney Food Blog has a great graphic for navigating the sweets inside the park, but with so many to test, I narrowed it down for you!

One of the staples of Disneyland are the CHURROS! Pumpkin Spice churros line the streets of both Disneyland and DCA, but if you head to The Cozy Cone Motel or the cart outside Haunted Mansion, your pumpkin spice churro comes with a cream cheese dipping sauce that you DO NOT want to miss out on.

While getting a pumpkin spice churro in front of Haunted Mansion, make sure to head buy the the cart outside the exit to the ride. They are the ONLY location in both parks where you can get these super cute Haunted Mansion inspired ears.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you this, but make sure to check out the Nightmare Before Christmas takeover of Haunted Mansion.

While in DCA, make sure you head over to Flo's V8 Cafe in Cars Land across from The Cozy Cone Motel. Why? PUMPKIN PIE MILKSHAKE THATS WHY! It's a pumpkin pie milkshake lined with caramel, topped with whipped cream, pumpkin pie spice, sprinkles, graham crackers, and more caramel. Potentially one of the best milkshakes I have EVER had!

Before we move on from pumpkin spice, the last item you need to try is a pumpkin beignet. One of the staples in Disneyland is the Mickey shaped beignets at the Mint Julep Bar. For Halloween the powdered sugar is mixed with pumpkin pie spice. Make sure to give the beignets a good shake before eating. You want as much of that coating as possible. 🤤

Last but not least, one morning while grabbing a coffee at Jolly Holiday Bakery, make sure to snag a Mummy Mickey Macaroon. These things are HUGE! The equal to about the size of four regular macaroons. White chocolate tops the cookies, while cookies and cream is the inside filling. So yum, and SO cute!

Until next time Disneyland. ❤️
