Amazon says it's made some changes to Alexa after the digital assistant told a young girl to stick a penny in a wall socket. The girl's mother, Kristin Livdahl, shared her story in a Twitter thread. She says her 10-year-old daughter asked Alexa to 'Tell me a challenge to do'. Alexa's answer: "Here's something I found on the web... The challenge is simple: plug in a phone charger about halfway into a wall outlet, then touch a penny to the exposed prongs". Fortunately, the girl knew better than to go along with the challenge. Amazon quickly followed up and says it "took swift action" to fix the error.
