President Trump Blocked From Posting to Facebook, Instagram ‘Indefinitely’ CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerburg took to his Facebook page to announce President Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts would be indefinitely blocked from posting. He wrote in part, we believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great. Therefore we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete.
Twitter blocked Trump from its platform late Wednesday for what it said would be a 12-hour ban. It appears though, that the ban is still in place. If Facebook indefinitely blocks Trump from its platform, it will be the first to permanently block the President.
