Taylor Swift Banner Removed From Staples Center, Fans Said It Was A Jinx

Fans got their wish after a Taylor Swift banner was removed from the Staple Center. L.A. Kings fans complained that the banner was a jinx for the hockey team. Taylor’s banner was originally hung in 2015 to commemorate her having the most sold-out shows at the stadium. Before then the L.A. Kings had made it to the Stanley Cup finals in 2012, then they went to the conference finals in 2013 and back to the Stanley Cup in 2014. Since 2014 the L.A. Kings haven’t made it back to the finals and the fans have blamed the Taylor banner. Now the banner has been removed and Michael Altieri, senior VP of marketing, communications, and content for the Kings and AEG Sports, previously told the Los Angeles Times. "We didn’t see an issue in covering it for our games and in fact see it as an opportunity to show our fans that we hear them." Do you think Taylor’s banner was a jinx for the L.A. Kings?
