Guy On Subway Squirts Ketchup On Ground For Personal Space

A New York City subway rider wanted to make sure nobody squeezed too close to him Friday morning. Twitter user Pervaiz Shallwani (@Pervaizistan) shared a photo with the caption, "A straphanger in morning A train pulled a bottle of ketchup from his bag and squirted a perimeter on the train car floor to keep folks from crowding his seat. Props to the woman seated next to him who is not going to give up her seat. #MTA" Comments to his tweet included: "That's some sociopathic ish right there." "Ingenious. Ketchup is the chemical enemy to the rubber sole of my shoe." And one user simply wondered, "What brand?" The NYCT Subway handled asked the OP for the train car number, which he provided, but no word on additional follow up. How do you keep people from crowding you on public transport? Do you mind the occasional bump or rub? Are you from an area without public transportation? How do you think you'd handle a crowded subway train?
