The touching moment was caught on camera and shared on KFC South Africa's official Twitter page, with staff asking other customers to help them track down the loving couple. And it didn't take long for the internet to work its magic, with the fast-food giant promising to give them a celebration to remember with a #StreetwiseWedding.
A South African airline wrote: "Hey mzansi's favourite couple! Your honeymoon is on us! #kululaholidays are giving you a holiday in Cape Town, incl flights and 5 nights accommodation"
A nail artist then offered to give the bride a makeover, writing: "Where are they from? Glam nails by lebo in polokwane would like to pimp the bride with manicure and Pedicure for free tell the bride to whatsapp me."
While another company pledged to provide the jewellery on the day. They said: "We'd love to send you a necklace, bracelet and pair of Forever New earrings to wear on your big day - @kfcsa let's make this happen! #KFCProposal."
