A Louisana man drowned while proposing to his girlfriend while vacationing in Africa and the girlfriend has posted the proposal video online, lamenting that he never got to hear her say "Yes." The couple was staying in a cabin with an underwater bedroom. The man swam underwater to the window with an engagement ring and a letter in a plastic bag that read "I can't hold my breath long enough to tell you everything I love about you. Will you marry me?" The man never emerged from the waters. The state department has confirmed the death of a U.S. tourist but wouldn't give further details. The woman also wrote that what was supposed to be the best day of their lives turned into the worst, "in the cruelest twist of fate imaginable."
