A New Jersey woman is facing theft charges after swiping a $2,000 diamond ring, then switching it out for an even more valuable one. Police say 49-year-old Izaebela Kolano stole the ring from a Costco store, then traveled to a different Costco and swapped it out for a ring worth over $28,000, leaving the store before employees realized what was up. Police tracked Kolano to her home and she eventually revealed that she had hidden the ring underneath a rock along a nearby street. Why would you steal a ring just to bury it under a rock?
