Serial Toilet Clogger Sentenced To Jail

This man had a crappy hobby. 35-year-old Patrick D. Beeman was sentenced to 150 days in jail and three years of probation for clogging toilets in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Beeman took water bottles and stopped up the toilets with them. There was a string of at least 10 incidents over the past few years. A police investigation led them to Beeman. He told officials that he "gets urges to do odd things." Beeman will also have to pay $5,500 in restitution for the toilets he damaged. While the state only recommended Beeman serve 30 days in jail as part of his probation, Judge Kent Hoffmann sentenced him to 30 days for each of the five counts of criminal damage to property, served consecutively, citing the need for a more severe punishment. Beeman will be able to participate in the Huber program, which will allow him to continue working at his current job, but require him to report back to jail each day after work. What happens when you "get the urge to do odd things?"
