It’s been 50 years since the Beatles called it quits in 1970, and while there was no official statement from the legendary band the culmination of moments from the late 60s resulted in the end of the group. Thankfully, while it’s been five decades since we said goodbye to the Beatles, their music is still as popular and beloved to this day. People around the world even celebrate Global Beatles Day on June 25 to commemorate the band’s performance on the BBC program Our World in 1967 and celebrate their gift of music and songs to the world.
