“Now is your opportunity to cement their ‘snaky status’ this Valentine’s Day by naming a brown snake (one of the world’s most venomous snakes) after them at Wild Lilfe Sydney Zoo!” the zoo wrote on their new contest page. Scorned lovers can seize this opportunity by entering the zoo’s “A Snaky Valentine’s Day” competition. All upset animal lovers have to do is fill out the contest’s entry form on the zoo’s website — which includes space to share why your ex is “snaky” — and donate one dollar to the Wild Life Conservation Fund. On Valentine’s Day, the reptile team at the zoo will pick a winner and announce it to the public. Along with getting the honor to name a snake after their ex, the winner will also receive “a certificate and the opportunity to visit the snake for free every day for the next year.”
