Emily Rossum, who plays Fiona on Shameless, has announced that she will be leaving the show. Season 9 of the series is set to premiere on September 9th and it looks like this will be the last time we see the eldest of the Gallagher clan.
She pens in a lengthy Facebook post that "there is much more Gallagher story to be told. I will always be rooting for my family. Try not to think of me as gone, just think of me as moving down the block."
While the Facebook post does not directly state when she will be exiting the show, we can imagine season 9 is going to tie up any and all loose ends for Fiona.
