Portland Pizza Week happened not too long ago here in our dear old PDX with tons of pizza joints offering pizza as cheap as $1 and tons of other specials. Next week Portland Burger Week will be hitting the city and all of our favorite places are going to be offering burgers for the cheap.
It all goes down August 13th-18th and 50 different burger places through the area are going to be participating. The easiest way to keep up to date with all the different burger eats is to follow their official Facebook event. The burgers are participating restaurants will retail for $5 and you have six days to inhale as much ground beef as humanly possible.
You can check out their website http://www.portlandburgerweek.com/ for a map and the specials offered at each location. The deals travel as far as Hillsboro, with most being located in the actual Portland area.
Last year Thrillist rated Stanich's as having the best burger in America, but sadly they are not participating in Portland's Burger Week.
The locations of places offering the $5 that I am excited to hit up include Church, White Owl, Noraneko, Alberta Street Pub, Bar Bar, and Kim Jong Smokehouse. If you want to see what burger places near your place or work are offering the $5 deal, you can check out Portland Mercury, they have an easy to navigate list, you can even filter it down by what neighborhood of Portland you are in.
