Bebe Rexha Had To Apologize For Being Fat, Even Though She Isn't

posted by Karianne -

Bebe Rexha has been blowing up over the past year. She has been on songs like 'Meant To Be' with Florida Georgia Line, 'Girls' with Rita Ora, and 'Back To You' with Louis Tomlinson amongst many others.

Bebe Rexha is extremely talented as well as being completely gorgeous! I mean just look at her. 😍

Life is Gucci.

When you’re in your hometown and you see a billboard of your album at a bus stop. 🙇🏼‍♀️ Had to get a pic. Didn’t expect this. 🙆🏼‍♀️ #expectations

I had such a blast in Nashville this week and I’m so grateful for all the warmth and love from the country community. Thank you so much for welcoming me with your arms wide open. 💕💕💕 📸 : @shearerphoto

Now, she has apparently been weight shamed so badly, that she had to TALK ABOUT IT on her Instagram page.

"Sorry I had to. Yes it’s real. No it’s not photoshopped. Yes I gained weight. Cause I’m human and I like to eat. And when I eat carbs my ass gets big. And you know WHAT: I love my fat ass!!!!!! Not every singer is gonna be a size zero, skinny and model looking. If that’s what you want from me then you ain’t getting it. Sorry not sorry. I’m tired of people talking about my weight."

This isn't the first time a celebrity has been fat shamed when they weren't even anywhere near close to overweight. Demi Lovato has been open with her eating disorders and struggles to love herself at no matter what size.

So, I’m insecure about my legs in this picture but I’m posting it because I look so happy and this year I’ve decided I’m letting go of my perfectionism and embracing freedom from self criticism. Learning to love my body the way it is is challenging but life changing. Giving up my eating disorder has been the most challenging journey of my life but I work every day towards solid recovery even if I mess up sometimes. Today I’m feeling strong. You all can do it too. It IS possible. Thank you God for this new chapter in my life. #EDrecovery #happyAF

There is no perfect body, and every human being is gorgeous. Rather than worrying about whether someone is wearing a size 2 or a size 20, let us just make sure that we feel good in the skin we are in. ❤️
