Whitney's new goal is $50,000 and she is soooo close! The money is going ot the Oregon Food Bank, and the donation will help provide $150,000 meals! Check out the video about her current fundraiser, which is ending soon!
Whitney Rutz, from Northeast Portland, asked her daughter to help make a cinnamon roll for their family to enjoy, while stuck at home in quarantine. The roll ended up being 12 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. She posted the photo on Instagram, where she began to get requests!
Whitney decided she'd auction off a cinnamon roll for charity. She hoped to get $50, but got $300 for the first one! She's now raised over $29,000 for the Oregon Food Bank; her new goal is $35,000! She's even started sending cinnamon rolls to healthcare workers, for every $500 raised! Read more about her story here.
