Demi Lovato Sings About Self Love in Bold New Single 'I Love Me' Demi Lovato’s new song, “I Love Me” is here and she’s dropped off a telling video to go along with it. In the video Demi is seen fighting against herself in an apartment, trying to reach out to a woman on a stretcher being loaded into an ambulance and watching a young bride and groom run past her on the street. All the scenes in the video are relevant to Demi’s life as she has battled with an eating disorder, drugs, and a breakup with Wilder Valderama. In an interview Demi said “I Love Me” is “an anthem,” "It talks about how hard we are on ourselves and the negative self-talk [and] how easily we can listen to that. But when is loving yourself gonna be enough?" Demi talks about “beating herself up” and thinking negative thoughts, how do you deal with those issues when they arise?
