Rats! LA is among the Nation's Most Rodent-Infested Cities Just hours after it was named the 10th sexiest city in the world, Los Angeles has been awarded an honor that seems to contradict the first. The City of Angels checks in at number two on a rundown of the most rat-infested cities in the U.S. "The Top Five Rattiest Cities in the U.S.," released Wednesday by pest control service Orkin, places L.A. right behind Chicago. According to the National Pest Management Association, 24 percent of Los Angeles homeowners report mouse and rat infestations every year. New York checks in at number three on the list, followed by Washington D.C. and San Francisco.
Portland comes in at #22, while Seattle/Tacoma is higher at #13!
