Most people now a days, know who James Charles' is, or at least what he is associated with. Charles' first became popular when he was the first man to ever work with CoverGirl, making himself the first ever CoverBoy. His Instagram, YouTube, and general following began to skyrocket after this. Recently he released his own, very successful, makeup palette with Morphe, amongst other things.
James Charles' entire career began falling down over the weekend all thanks to 'GlamLifeGuru' aka Tati Westbrook. James Charles lost over one million followers in a day, which is the highest loss for any YouTuber. If you want to get down in the details, Elle released a great in depth breakdown.

Lets break it down.
In Tati's 43 minute long video she explains that it all started when Charles' refused to endorse Tati's beauty vitamin line, Halo, claiming that he didn't want to have advertisements on his channel for vitamins, since he has a young audience. Which is a fair point, I can respect that. Turns out that he actually has nothing wrong with endorsing vitamins, since he made a video for her direct competitor Sugar Bear Hair.
Tati posted an emotional video to her Instagram story about it, and then Gabriel Zamora, for whatever reason, made a video about the issue, calling out Tati by name. This video is what Tati claims to have prompted the 43 minute long "expose."
People are now turning against Zamora for getting himself involved in drama that he didn't belong in, and for supporting Charles.
Tati goes on to explain how her and her husband helped build Charles. In ways from helping him make $2,500 per video, when he had only been making $90, to giving him contract advice, featuring him in videos, and so much more. Tati is one of the OG YouTubers, and a lot of people respect Tati in the community, having her vouch for you is a big deal in the YT space. You can see why him supporting her competitor would sting.
So far, everything we have heard in the video has been pretty shady, and very hurtful towards his friend, but nothing mentioned yet had really been career ending, until Tati dropped a bombshell. James Charles had been regularly using his fame and celebrity status to manipulate straight men into sleeping with him.
After the allegations, other celebrities came out of the woodwork to say that their (male and straight) partners had also been hit up by Charles. The tweet has since been deleted.
Since then, James Charles has dropped almost three million followers, with the first million being gone within the first 24 hours.
James Charles' seemed to take a note out of Laura Lee's book, "How To Make Everything Worse," when making his apology video.
The worst part? He only talks about the Sugar Bear hair issue, and not that he is using his fame and power into tricking men to sleep with him.
According to BuzzFeed, celebrities are already unfollowing him in droves. Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Katy Perry are just among of a few names that are seemingly taking Tati's side.
Not only are celebrities siding with Tati, but most of the internet is as well.

All the claims in this article are just allegations as of now. James Charles has not yet commented on the claims about him using his status to sleep with people.
