Aaliyah's family members are not so thrilled about this...

Earlier this week, US Weekly reported that Disney star Zendaya Coleman will be starring as the singer/actress known as "Baby Girl" in the new Lifetime movie. Tentatively titled as "Aaliyah: Princess of R&B," is a made for TV movie that will tell the life of the singer's life and early death.

Although the singer's family doesn't want the Lifetime movie made, they would be content with a big screen biography as they believe it's much more fitting to the stars image. The movie is based off the bestselling novel "Aaliyah: More Than A Woman," which chronicles her life from her debut on Star Search to her successful music career and shocking death.

Aaliyah's family plans on blocking the movie and prevent filmmakers from using any of the tragic star's music, which will definitely be an issue. Benny Hankerson, Aaliyah's uncle and former manager, told TMZ he will do anything in his power to stop this from happening. Sounds like a sticky situation...

We love & miss you Aaliyah!!!
