Baboon Recreates Iconic Scene From 'The Lion King' In Real Life

"The king... has returned."

Kurt Schultz, a photographer for South Africa’s Kruger National Park, noticed a familiar scene while touring the park, a baboon was seen carrying a lion cub and it reminded Schultz of the scene from The Lion King. The young baboon was seen carrying the cub from tree to tree and even stopped to care for and groom the cub like it was a young baboon. Schultz, who has been a tour guide for the African park for 20 years, says he’s never seen baboons care for a cub like this one did but he’s sure that things didn’t end well for the cub. “I’ve seen baboons killing leopard cubs, so I presume the cub would not survive the day either due to other baboons fighting over the cub, the strength of the baboon or the heat of the day killing it,” Schultz explained on Facebook. Have you seen an animal act in an abnormal way? Bottom video show a monkey holding its baby like the movie too, from last year.
