Body of Man Missing For 22 Years Discovered By Google Earth In Pond

The body found in a Wellington retention pond last month, thanks to Google Earth, has been identified as a man who went missing in 1997. The exterior of the vehicle was heavily calcified and had apparently been submerged for a very long time. Upon removing the vehicle, human skeletal remains were found inside. On Tuesday, the remains were positively identified as William Earl Moldt, who was reported missing on Nov. 8, 1997. He was 40 years old at the time he went missing.
