A missing person's case lead to a long incident Saturday in Northeast Portland.  Saturday morning around 6 a.m. police were called to a house near NE 66th and Failing Street for a welfare check.

Police found suspicious circumstances and called homicide detectives.  The Special Emergency Response Team was then called and they surrounded a house most of Saturday and through the night.

Tear gas was eventually fired into the home.  Police are not saying what was found.

They are looking for 59-year-old Renee Sandidge. They say she was last seen walking, but they don't know whether she might also be in a car.  She's 5-feet 2-inches tall with red hair and brown eyes.  They don't know what type of clothes she might be wearing.
