Burglars Cut Through Wall To Steal ATM

The Portland Police Bureau's Burglary Detail, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify suspects in a commercial burglary in Southeast Portland's Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood. 

On August 4, 2014, at 6:31 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the Pink Feather Restaurant and Lounge, located at 14145 Southeast Division Street, on the report of a burglary alarm. 

Officers arrived in the area and discovered a hole in the wall of the business. The investigation revealed that the suspects used a torch to cut through a wall, then used the torch to cut loose the ATM inside the business then loaded it into a truck and escaped the area. 

The suspect vehicle is described as a white Chevy or GMC extended cab pick-up truck. Both suspect appear dressed in clothing consistent with construction or utility workers. One of the suspects appears to be a white male. 

Surveillance images from the burglary are being released to assist in the identification of suspects. 

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
